I am interested in using Honey in my hair. What are the different ways I can use Honey in the hair?

Thanks,

Tip don't use straight up honey in your hair and don't ever microwave honey. It gets super hot really fast. My favorite way is honey and aloe Vvera gel mixed with conditioner is a 1 to 1 to 4 ratio. It's called a SMT from the long hair forum. Super moisturizing deep conditioner.
You could also mix it with your conditioner.

    Hi @BrittanyM

Thanks for responding to my question! I also have a question about my curl pattern that I hope you can answer. What hair type do think I have, as well as the thickness. My hair photos are in this link https://valeriesimmons.smugmug.com/My-First-Gallery/

You appear to be 4a or 3c from your avatar. Don't be so hung up on hair types though and just do what works for you.

I love doing an occasional honey rinse. I mix a couple spoonfuls of honey with warm water and after I condition wash my hair, I dump the mixture onto my hair, scrunch it around, add my gel and plop as usual. It seems to put some bounce back into my hair.

@jeepcurlygurl, doesn't it make your hair sticky?  I'm picturing ants being attracted to my hair with all that honey  :D I already have bees buzzing around my head all the time due to my hair products, I'm not sure I'd want to add honey too!

@rbb ;  Not sticky at all. And no bugs. If it's sticky and ants are coming for you, then you used too much honey in your rinse. : )
