OMG LOC method! ♥

I don't know how to tell you how much I have struggled with my low porosity hair for months, and although I had tried the LOC method before, when I washed my hair yesterday I thought I would give it another try. I used Curls Blueberry Bliss Leave-In, Jojoba oil, and then Amika Curl Cream. I also tried to make sure my hair was in clumps before I scrunched, and my hair is so soft and it's also shiny. I haven't had that in FOREVER!
Long: Fine, low porosity 3b curls
Shampoo: Suave clarifying
Low sulphate shampoo: Elucence Moisture benefits, Not Your Mother’s Curl defining
Conditioner: Acure Argan Oil & Pumpkin, Elucence Moisture balancing, GVP Conditioning Balm
Leave in: Curls Blueberry Bliss
Cream: Amika Curl cream, Ag recoil
Gel: Giovanni

You've inspired me.  I always think Ishoiuld use gel but I.m going to try this.
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....

Love the LOC method. I do use a gel at the end though. I can keep my hair moisturized for days.

Curlypearl- let me know how it works for you. My hair still feels so so with minimal frizz on day two.

BrittanyM- what gel do you use to follow it up? So you do LOCG?

I use the Eco Styler Argan Oil gel. It was the first CG gel I ever tried, and I need to "outgrow" it. I would think any gel that has a "sealing" effect would give me the same result.
