    Welcome to CurlTalk!

I also have fine wavy hair.  Fine hair often does better with low-poo than with cowashing.  You can low-poo once a week and cowash the rest of the time, or alternate low-pooing and cowashing, or just skip cowashing altogether and low-poo every time.  Whatever works best for you and your hair.  And don't forget to clarify once in a while!  It's not just silicones that build up in our hair, other ingredients do too.  When your hair starts behaving badly, do a clarifying wash and see if it helps.

I have fine hair that gets easily weighed down.  I have to go light on products, although I tend to go fairly heavy with gel.  But I skip creamy stylers and try to stick with clear styling products.  I also have to avoid anything with shea butter.  Lots of people love SB, but it weighs down my hair and creates terrible build up.

That's all I can think of right now.  Look around, ask questions - I'm sure you'll pick up tons of tricks around here!
