Hair type?

I have been wearing my hair wavy on and off, and when I don’t wear it wavy I straighten it. My hair is color treated. I’m not sure what my hair type is but I’m guessing maybe 2a or 2b. Here is a picture.
Here it was washed with deva curl delight line and dried under a hooded dryer with clips. I didn’t scrunch as it was drying, but I scruched it before I sat under the dryer.

Here, my hair was scruched dry with a sea salt/ water mixture and a blowdryer on medium heat and speed.
Let me know what you think my hair type is.
Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Parts look 2a, but then you have areas where the hair wraps around itself, which I think is more 2c.

It can be difficult to assign a single hair type to a head of hair. A lot of us have a variety of curl patterns on our heads, and different styling products and different techniques can tighten or loosen the curl. I am 2a in the front and sides, and probably 2c at the nape of my neck.

Do you have a diffuser for your blowdryer? That will help preserve the curls so they don't split apart and get frizzy. I would also recommend using a leave-in conditioner--your hair looks a little dry and frizzy in pic 2. Leave-in will most likely help that.

Thank you so much @Therese1! I have been thinking about getting a diffuser and now I’m going to start looking for one. I also agree with you my hair is on the dry side so I will also be looking for a nice leave in. Again thanks for your comment!
