Error code when trying to post

Guide 65Guide 65 Registered Users, Moderators Posts: 1,984 Curl Virtuoso
I'm trying to post something, but I keep getting an error pop up.

{ "Code": 403, "Exception": "You need the Garden.Community.Manage permission to do that.", "Class": "Gdn_UserException" }

This came up 7 or 8 times while I was typing up my post, and then it wouldn't let me post it.

    Oh wow. I've never seen or heard of that. I'll ask the Smart Guys.
    Anyone else seeing this?
    I did a quick search and found "403 Error Code is caused in one way or another by misconfigured system files in your windows operating system."
    Not sure if that means it's on our server's end or at the local end. I'll see what they say.

    Smart peeps want to know: "Do you know which Category and Discussion they were trying to post in? Also, to be sure, were they starting a new discussion, adding a comment to one that already existed or trying to perform another action?"

    I was posting in General Hair Discussions.  It was going to be a new thread.  And I may have done some weird double key typo while typing it up, cause fat fingers.  Once I got out of that, I didn't have any more trouble.  I posted here, then went back to General Hair and tried posting again, and had no more problems.  So it may have been user error.  Sorry about that.

    No worries. I just want to make sure we get it fixed, if it's on our end.
