I would guess 3c. As for it's importance, it isn't that important. It is mostly a descriptor. It can have some effect on how you style your hair, but really other hair properties are much more important, especially your hair width (coarse, medium, fine), porosity (high, medium, low), and density (high, medium, low) to some extent. These have much more of an influence on the types of products and techniques are more likely to work with your hair.
