Caring for itchy scalp and dandruff

I've figured out a routine that keeps my hair looking pretty good and
healthy (and frizz free!) but because the best things in life are never
easy, I have developed an itchy scalp with dandruff. Currently I use all
Shae Moisture products. I co-wash, deep condition and use a little gel
about once a week. I also put a little avocado oil in my hair after I
get out of the shower. Any thoughts? Maybe it would help to start
co-washing more frequently and get some regular conditioner?
