Hello Experts,

I am a male that has been growing his hair for the past 15 months. I believe that my hair type is 4A/4B but, I want to get a different perspective just in case I may be wrong. Thanks for your help!!!

Yeah, I would put it solidly at 4A. But if you really want to care for your hair, it might be a good idea to learn your other hair properties (especially hair width, porosity, and maybe density). These are more connected to the types of products and techniques that are more likely to work with your hair. Try taking the NC.com Texture Quiz: https://www.naturallycurly.com/quiz

That's good. Well, upon reflection your hair looks to be in pretty good condition and looks good, so I would say just keep doing what you are doing. But if you start to find it behaving weirdly, try adapting you hair care regimen to your hair properties. Anyway, good luck.

    Hello Bomega,

Thanks for the tips and I appreciate the clarification!! My hair is low porosity, high density. However, I'm not too sure on my hair width. How do you find that out?
