How long is "awkward hair-length"?
I think my hair length may fit in the "awkward hair-length" category because it is too short for short hairstyles but too long for medium hairstyles.
I don't know. For me, awkward length is more about being between hair lengths when I am trying to grow it out. I feel like any length hair has a good hair style available to it if the cut is maintained. When I am trying to grow out, usually the awkward stages seems lo last maybe a month or two? It's been a while since I've grown my hair out so I'm not sure.

For me, the most awkward length is right at the shoulders. I just hate my hair at that length.

we have the same hair issues at the moment. Have you thought about using some small hair clips or barrettes to accessorize your hair, maybe doing some small twists and such?
I think it is a personal thing. For me awkward is too short for a ponytail.

My hair is between armpit & bra strap length stretched, but always ends up at shoulder length at some point because of shrinkage. I consider my shrinkage length awkward (for me), especially since I intended for my hair to be longer by now so I would have this problem

My hair has been awkward since it began touching the tops of my shoulders. The bottom sections now reach my bra clasp, that took forever. But I still had a chunk on top that I let my stylist put in a long time ago when it was very early awkward in order to "try layers." she cut it about mid-ear length. That layer is still about 8 inches shorter than my length now so I've been in an awkward length situation a LONG time - basically TWO ear to bra clasp growth periods.
