I know there are ppl. out there that hate grocery shopping. Heck, I am one of them! Do you hate it enough to pay someone to do your grocery shopping for you?

No, not for $20 per trip. My local supermarket charges $10 and they will deliver it to my door and I think that is too much to pay. If I was rolling in money I might consider it.

I've only found frozen foods that I can have delivered.

If I could get groceries delivered, I would. Particularly if I were able to get fresh deliveries of fruits and vegetables regularly.

publix, a florida (and now georgia too) grocery store had what they called publix direct a couple years ago. you would go online, purchase your groceries and then they would be delivered to your home. they charged a delivery fee (i'm not sure what it was) but needless to say it didn't last very long. they found that people preferred going to the store to do their shopping, so they cancelled the service.
personally, i enjoy grocery shopping so i wouldn't pay anyone to do it for me.

If I could get a job doing people's grocery shopping, I would!

I love to go to the store...find bargains, use coupons!

I don't get to do a good grocery run when I am traveling because I just can't buy food in that big of quanties because I end up throwing it out. Plus- since I moved- my parking spot vs. my front door is a lot farther... so it has to all make it all in with one trip :D

I have used Peapod and paid 3.95 for delivery. But only twice, and only to stock up on major heavy stuff... Actually, the delivery was free, because I had a 10.00 off 'first time customer' order, and now I have 5.00 off my second, third and fourth orders. I spent over 100.00- whic makes it go down to 4.95 delivery, picked an off time for deliver, whcih takes a 1.00 off, then applied my 5.00 to it.. so it was totally worth it to have all my can good staples; bottled water; drinks and laundry detergent brought to my door.

I might actually save money by paying someone to do it but its too much fun to do it myself or as a fam if everyone is behaving (kids) then I would pay double. That or hire a babysitter so I can get out of the house.

Nope. Even as much as I hate it I'd rather have the $20.

Really?? I hate grocery shopping. My mom loves it so I give her a list.

If I was rolling in it, I'd pay.

I hate grocery shopping as much as I love clothes and shoe shopping.

I'll keep my 20 thankyou very much. My sister hates it so I've actually offered to do hers for 20.00. I love grocery shopping. I go down every single aisle just for the hell of it. It's more of a relaxation tool for me. Just to clear my mind.

I hate, despise, and loathe grocery shopping. When I was single, living on my own -- it was like torture. The deli, seafood, bakery, and meat counter people could never see me over the counters, I ALWAYS needed the certain item on the top shelf. I actually ended up paying a college kid to get my groceries every week. I believe I paid him $20 for the job, plus gas and tip. Usually, I'd just give him $35.

I actually love grocery shopping. Reminds me of my trips with my mom when I was a kid, learning to pick out fruit and veggies, planning meal, checking out new items. Plus since I am no longer a starving student I can actually buy what I want (within reason) which makes it all the more enjoyable.

bounce, I'm with you. My husband has been doing it for 27 years! In fact, I get yelled at when I do go grocery shopping for picking up stuff we don't need! Before my mother passed away, I was in the grocery store doing her shopping one day and people who know me asked what I was doing there!
