I'm not certain, but I was hoping for either confirmation or correction. The photos below are all dry wash & go's.

I'm not an expert on type 4 hair since I have type 3 but oh my goodness you have the most beautiful hair.
--I'm located in Western PA.   --I found NC in late 2004, CG since February 2005, joined the forums in May 2005, started going grey in late 2005.   --My hair is 3B with some 3A, currently at mid back length when dry,  texture-medium/fine, porosity-top is low, middle is medium, ends are porous, elasticity-normal.   --My long time favorite products are Suave & VO5 conditioners, LA Looks Sport Gel, coconut oil, honey, vinegar.

Your hair is 3c mines is 4a because my curls are smaller than yours.

Do you, perhaps, have a photo of your hair? I guess I'm uncertain of what 4a hair looks like. At least I know I'm floating somewhere around 3c and 4a.

Welcome! I'm thinking maybe 3c? Did you look here?  And maybe do the quiz here.
I tried the quiz and it says I'm 3c. It says the curls are the circumference of a straw or pencil. My curls can't fit a pencil inside of them, but they're about the same size of a pencil and get as small as a coffee stirrer. A FEW curls are bigger than a pencil. So I guess I have a range. I feel like a "3C.5". lol

I also looked at the photos you linked me too. Her 3c curls are bigger and the 4a curls don't look like mine. My hair looks like the 3c, but with a smaller curl circumference and more density.

I would say your 3c/4a you can be multitextural. My hair can look like yours with the volume but it can be really define and some area feel different so I know it' not just one type. I don't have updated picture of my hair out but here' when it's define
