Gretchen posted these instructions over in the Feedback forum.

Log out of NC completely. Go to home page of NC.com, and log back in. Then come over to CurlTalk and see what your avatar looks like. If it's not what you want, click on your user name in upper right corner, then "Edit my profile".
Then upload whatever avatar image you would like.
And then please let me know how it all goes!

It's been nice seeing some new avatars here and there!

Some have been able to change their avatars and others haven't. I could at one time, then couldn't for a long time (the button disappeared), and I just looked and button is back so I am going to try it again!!
ETA Never mind. The button is back but when I click on the photo I want to add, nothing happens. Sigh.

Ok as I said before - did all this. The old pic persists in my posts although it is changed in the profile.  Sigh, is this rocket science??

If it's any consolation at all, @Myrna, I think your present avatar is very pretty. Hopefully it can be worked out by the "smart guys." I don't understand why some members can change their avatars while others can't.
