How should i sleep with my curly hair

I have 3a curly hair, and it is so annoying how i wash my hair in the morning and the curls look nice and bouncy, then the next day after sleeping they look like crap.

So i was wondering how should i sleep with my curly hair, as in what hairstyles i can try in order to retain my curls overnight.

Thanks xx

How long is your hair? One thing that helps a lot of people is to get a silk pillowcase. A popular way to sleep if you have hair long enough is pineappling your hair, which is just using a scrunchie/soft rubber band to tie your hair up on top of your head. If it isn't quite long enough, you could try medusa clipping. Here is a thread with videos that demonstrate the two techniques:

You could try sleeping with a buff or hair wrap, if you can make sure it is made out of smooth material. And there is a recent thread of a way someone uses a t-shirt has a hair wrap:
