Daughter having head lice

My daughter has got long and thick hair. Everyone admires her flawless hair, but she finds it very difficult to manage her hair. She is not willing to cut her hair as she believes that her entire beauty depends upon that long hair. She has got lice on her head. They keep on coming even though I brush her hair with a lice-comb every week.

I made her try anti-lice shampoos. They kill the lice, but not their eggs. So, they keep on multiplying after some time. This appears as an endless circle. I have also noted that she is suffering from hair fall due to the overuse of these harmful shampoos. One of my cousins asked to try in home lice removal services from Ottawa.

Does this procedure take time? Can this be done within two hours? Are there any natural methods to have lice removed? Please share.

I don't know anything about a service like that, and haven't had lice as an adult. But henna is reported to remove lice, especially in combination with artemia powder. Here are some links:

    Mehandi's page about it: http://www.hennaforhair.com/health/
Mehandi's forum with an entry: http://forums.hennapage.com/node/6781
A thread here on curltalk about lice: https://curltalk.naturallycurly.com/discussion/82870

Keep in mind that henna will dye hair that is dark brown or lighter a shade of red/auburn. If this is something you want to try, I would contact Mehandi's customer service. They are really great.
