Hi Paris, Welcome to nc.com. No reason why you can't try the SM Coconut Hibiscus smoothie - I think wavies (especially fine-haired wavies) usually just use less or dilute it. But don't feel bad if it doesn't work for you. Not all products work for everyone.

As a wavy, I call my hair curly. But I find there are a lot of people who get pedantic about it, usually people with straight hair, and I just tell myself they are jealous. :p

The SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie seems to be one of those products that works for a wide range of textures, so I would definitely try it. You may need to use less or apply it differently, but it has a lot of wavy fans:

You can certainly use the CES in type 2 hair. :) I used to use it, but then my hair became sensitive to protein (there is some protein in the CES).

If you have fine hair, you need only a tiny amount, like maybe a quarter to a half of a pea. I would start with very little and work your way up.

I consider wavy hair curly in a general sense, because people generally think in terms of straight OR curly hair. But "wavy" is probably more accurate. I don't worry too much about it. I use whatever term is more helpful for the discussion at hand.
