How do you take care of two porosities??

I am transitioning from chemically damaged hair from dying and stretching to natural. My hair has been high porosity since the damage, but my new growth has a much lower porosity now. I don't want to mess up this time (I've transitioned before and accidentally stretched my hair almost straight with protective buns that were too tight). I want to make sure I don't lose moisture in the roots without weighing down the damaged parts if that is at all possible.

I'm probably not going to be of great help, even tho I have 2-3 porosities. My roots are low porosity, my middle is normal porosity, my ends are high porosity. My hair is long and grows slowly so by the time it gets to the ends it is quite damaged from sun, wind, tangling, etc.  I really don't fuss with it too much. I use my regular conditioners and gel, do a deep treatment once in awhile, do vinegar and honey rinses once in awhile, and the only thing I do special for the ends is add some coconut oil once in awhile.
