Could overnight plopping cause wrinkles?

fawneefawnee Posts: 5Registered Users Curl Neophyte
I have recently started plopping my wet hair, as well as overnight dry plopping. It has done wonders for my hair, but I'm worried about my skin. The t shirt tends to push my forehead and eyebrows down, making me frown. I don't want to come across as very superficial, but as I am quite young I don't want to be worried about premature forehead wrinkles or a saggy forehead!

Does anyone have any tips to stop plopping from causing a frown?

Maybe try plopping with a flour sack towel, which is quite thin and can be tied quite tight? Maybe the weight of the t-shirt is causing the problem.

Ahh! Bless, it's not superficial. Why not try getting a microfiber towel if a t-shirt is too heavy?

I plop for about a half hour any day that I wash my hair. I don't notice that it scrunches up my forehead. I don't overnight plop as I think it's uncomfortable. I much prefer pineappling overnight.

Yeah  think it's the weight of the tshirt. Last night I tried to secure it further up my forehead so it wasn't pressing down, which actually helped. It stayed secure all night and my face felt fine!
