Can you help me decide what kind of curls I have ?

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I'm new to my natural hair! I've straightened it most of my life, because nobody else in the family had curly hair, except my grandma, who had a frizzy rat nest on her head. 

I think I'm between 2c and 3a!

    Beautiful family!  I'm not very good at hair typing, but in that picture maybe a 2B?  Whatever it is, it's very pretty!

    You have a beautiful family! Welcome here. I am also a newbie and we seem to have the same hair type. Some days I am a 2b/c and other days it can be a full on 3a.
