Help me sleep!

Did any of you use one of those huge body pillows that surround you? Do they work? I'm having so much trouble getting comfortable, even with a regular straight body pillow. I feel like I wake up every time I roll over and then, since I'm up, I have to pee. Then I can't get back to sleep. Then I can't get up with my alarm because I don't feel rested, even though I go to bed early.

I know, I know! Get used to it! The baby won't let me sleep! But until he comes, I'd like to try to be comfortable. Is it possible?

I had a Snoogle and would have divorced my husband and married it if it had been legal. I still didn't sleep great but I slept tons better. I had a lot of pubic pain and the snoogle helped a lot. Pillows seem to help most people a lot.

My bed has a ton of pillows including the j-shaped thingy and the only thing that helped was to workout or be really active before sleeping. I'd be so damn tired it didn't matter how I slept.

I second the Snoogle! I am a devoted back sleeper and that thing not only helped me sleep on my side, it helped me stay relatively comfortable (as comfortable as I could have been with that gawdawful rib pain and heartburn...).

I can't get comfortable either. I tried using a pillow between my legs but I flip from side to side so much that the pillow is just cumbersome.

Get the Snoogle, it sounds like it could help. I'm too frugal to buy a Snoogle.

I bought two of those straight body pillows...I hated them. I ended up using them to help elevate me at the end of my pregnancy so I could sleep. Otherwise I used small pillows to get comfy. Basically I had 7 pillows around me. Poor Hubby!!!

Ok. Here is how neurotic I am.

I have been resisting the snoogle, since I too am frugal (LOL, Medussa!) and I was worried it would engulf our little full size bed, that I share with a very tall hubby and very snuggly kitty. My DH has been pushing me to get it for a couple of weeks. After last night's "sleep" he convinced me. He picked me up at work and drove me to Target especially to get it so I could sleep tonight. Well, they didn't have it, and I (the woman who didn't know if she wanted it because she is too cheap and thought it would take up the whole bed) had to stop myself from bursting into tears in the middle of the store. I cried all the way home in the car.

 Pregnancy. Who can explain it?

Anyway, DH gallantly offered to buy it online with his leftover Amazon birthday money. (I've got me a keeper!) I'll let you know how it goes.
