Henna/Henna Gloss Recipes

I have decided to join the Ayurvedic Lifestyle - mainly down to
Curly Proverbz on Youtube, her hair is beautiful.
I plan to use a Henna Gloss once a week and a full Henna treatment once a month.
My Questions?:
1. What are your favourite Ayurvedic powders
2. What is your go to mix for your Henna treatments?
2a. Do you add a variety of powders to your Henna mix? If so which ones.

To answer your questions (sorry it got so long...I just love henna
1. What are your favourite Ayurvedic powders
So far I haven't experimented too much with various ayurvedic powders. Obviously I've been using henna and indigo. I am liking amla, brahmi, bhringraj. I bought some jaswand, but I'm a little nervous about trying it because I want to darken my hair, and I'm not sure I want red accents. If you aren't trying to color your hair (or if you have light hair and don't want to darken it), your might want to look into cassia instead of henna. I have never used it, but it looks good.
2. What is your go to mix for your Henna treatments?
I love henna + amla. I use a standard 4:1 henna:amla mix, with enough water to make a paste. Adding amla to the henna as my acid was a complete game changer for my hair. In addition, if you want to keep your curl pattern, amla is a necessity. For years I used only lemon juice as my acid, and at first I had just a gentle loosening of the curl which I liked but over time it gave me flat spots where I used to have nice curls. Adding the amla gave me more manageability that I didn't even think was possible since my hair benefited from henna so much, and the amla addition seems to be helping reverse the flattening.
2a. Do you add a variety of powders to your Henna mix? If so which ones.
I have been experimenting with other powders but I haven't made up my mind about them. Recently I have been adding Brahmi + Bhringraj, and I can't complain, but I haven't used it long. I've also thought about adding aloe vera...don't know why I haven't tried.
Anyway, good luck.
