Best cleansing condish for fine 3b hair?

MaggieTMaggieT Registered Users Posts: 178 Curl Novice
I'd love to try a new cleansing conditioner and would like to ask you for recommendations! I have super fine 3b hair that really needs moisture; I prefer a cleansing condish with a lot of slip.

The Devachan ones work okay for me, though ultimately I find that the "regular" formula isn't quite conditioning enough for me and the Decadence is a bit heavy. The only other product I've tried is the Curl Junkie cleansing condish, which didn't work great for me -- I felt like it didn't have enough slip and wasn't particularly moisturizing. I especially love light fruity/floral scents if that rings a bell.

Has anyone tried the Matrix Biolage cleansing conditioner?

Thanks for your ideas! <3

If you search the forum, I do believe there is a thread on the Biolage cleansing conditioner. A lot of people seem to like it.

If you don't mind something expensive, I like the Oribe Cleansing Cream for Moisture and Control. It is not too heavy for fine hair, and the scent is amazing (floral). It has a decent amount of protein, if that's an issue for you. I'm not sure how its slip compares with other conditioners. If you buy it at a salon, you can return it and get your money back if you dislike it.

I tried the Matrix Biolage cleansing conditioner. It was ok, but it weighed down my very fine hair. I like Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Avocado and Quinoa Cowash better. It weighed my hair down less than the Matrix, and I liked the smell better. I'm not using it now, but I may go back to it in the winter when it gets dry.

I have very fine 3b hair and my favourite cleansing conditioner is the olive oil one from Palmers. CJ daily fix works for me but is hard to get in the uk. Whenever I visit the us I always buy a few bottles of EverCreme cleansing conditioner too as I can't get it in the uk at all. I can get the matrix ones from TK maxx but have never tried them.

    Hi,

Have you tried the coconut oil formula cowash from Palmer's? If you have, how does it compare to the olive oil formula one?

    TIA

Giovanni Tea Tree conditioner is great as a co-wash and has good slip for detangling. I put it all over my hair before I wet it down in the shower, then its easier to get all of my hair wet and detangling is a breeze. It comes in a huge pump bottle as well. Great value.
