I have been using this product for about two months now and find that it works very well. I put just a little bit on my fingers, water it down a bit, and then spread it into my hair. My hair is mainly 3b now, however, has some 3a in it and a few strands have been trying to go 3c. I just recently switched my shampoo and conditioner to DevaCurl and the Davines curl serum seems to work well with it.

I really like it when the humidity levels are mid-range. It gives me great soft curls then. However, I have high porosity hair (highlights and coloring my gray roots), so with a humectant (glycerin) being high in the ingredients it causes more frizz in the summer and isn’t great in the winter. I have been using it year round, but now I’m realizing why I see more halo frizz in different seasons- humectants! Now I’m on a search for a humectant free curl cream.
