Curls around my face are outta control...I need some help!

My curls are probably your typical, frizzy 3A type. I have a fairly good routine to get them to mostly behave, but I have yet to find a way to get the curls around my face, especially along the top of my forehead and part to look decent. They are tiny ringlets that go in every direction and I don't like the look of them. They're along the lines of a toddler with crazy curls, whereas I want adult and polished. The only way I've found to control them is to get them with the iron (either curling or flat) and straighten them out. I'd much rather prefer not to use heat, but I'm at a loss on how to get them to behave. I'm believing that someone else out there has had, and solved, this same problem.

try clipping them in the way you want them to go while your hair is wet. take them out when dry and they should go in that direction. i think if you do this for a period of time they may even go that way naturally.
