PT Routine

in Hair Type 2
I'm new to CG and have noticed that my curls look pretty limp about a week in. Thinking I may need a protein treatment, but not sure how to incorporate it into a wash day. Do I co-wash first? Do a rinse out conditioner afterward? Adjust my products afterward? Would love some advice!

Hi I wouldn't start with a protein treatment. I would start with a conditioner with protein. I use John Masters Citrus & Neroli Detangler. It has a nice amount of protein.
I PT with the John Masters once a week which is my wash day. I cleanse my hair with a low poo. Then I apply the John Masters on my hair and comb it through. I let it sit in my hair for 5 - 10 minutes then rinse it out completely. My hair doesn't feel dry after but if your hair does I would add a conditioner without protein. Then style as usual. Maybe stay away from a styler with protein to see how your hair reacts.
My hair needs protein during the week besides the PT once a week. I condition my hair daily and use a conditioner with protein, Deva Curl Delight One Conditioner. I focus on mid to ends and leave most of it in. My hair doesn't need anymore protein than that. I probably could use a conditioner with no protein and a styler with protein but I wouldn't use both.

Current products:
i do a low poo first (cj assurance shampoo), the rake/scrunch in repair me, let it sit in my hair as i shower (sometimes with a plastic cap, or not), then rinse it all out. then i apply my leave in.
