Oil as a leave-in?

in Hair Type 3
Some brilliant people on this forum just introduced me to the joys of using oil after a shower as a leave-in and helped me have my first good hair day in probably a year. I'm a total convert.
I've been using standard castor oil, but I'm wondering if there are other oils I should give a shot. Any recommendations? I have super thick 3A/3B hair, for reference.

I tried this the other day with coconut oil and it worked out well, I have fine hair but it seems to like coconut oil a lot. I only used a small blob/pea sized amount. My hair is 3a fine, easily weighed down and very porous from highlights so not sure how it would work on your hair.
