I no longer use conditioner or shampoo...

I've been water-only washing for about 2 months now and I am very pleased with the results.

Only thing that goes into my hair now is water (which I spray in with a bottle) and Aunt Jackie's flaxseed gel. I do this every morning.

Whenever my scalp gets a tad itchy (or a little smell appears), I simply make sure to use warm water during my wash for that day...and I massage my scalp. Itch/smell is gone! No flaking, no build up....no excessive itching.

I'm quite surprised how well this has worked.

Your hair looks great! Such amazing sheen and definition.

I posted this in another WO thread elsewhere.... I, too, have ditched shampoo and even conditioner. I just use catnip tea as a RO and leave in. And nothing but all natural hairspray and the tea for product. Simplicity is best it seems. And I got the best 2nd day hair of my life:

Super baby fine hair, low porosity
Shampoos: SM Fruit Fusion (mostly), Avalon lemon (to clarify). Occasional aloe vera and glycerin to wash.
Stylers: Intelligent Nutrients Perfect Hold Hairspray
Treatments: Catnip tea, IA girl's PT, Fermented Rice Water, Catnip Tea, Amla tea, Irish Moss, SS PT

Awww, thank you so much for the love you guys!!!!!!!!

I was so nervous about ditching my shampoo and conditioner, but as @naturecat mentioned, simplicity seems to work best for my hair!!!

I spray it with lukewarm water in the morning until it is fully saturated and then just work in my flaxseed gel. My shower has a LOT of pressure and I didn't like putting all that weight on my head, to me its the equivalent of pulling it .. so I am so glad that I can get away with just the spray bottle.
