my hair just won't grow

Hi,

I'm having a hard time retaining length here and I just don't understand it. I've been natural for about a year and a half and I've seen some growth in the beginning then it just stopped.. I've gotten my last trim in may... I deep condition every two weeks I use the L. O. C method. The last two months I had it in braids and just wore my wigs. I have heavy shedding which may be part of the problem but I don't know how to stop it I've done protein treatment tea rinses non of it helps.my stylist suggested I take vitamins but that's not helping either. Im medically fine and my hair is healthy it has a nice bounce and feels soft it's just short. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    If the problem is shedding and not breakage, then I would think that some kind of internal supplement would be the answer, though I'm not sure which one. I recently bought and am trying the BioSil supplement, which is for skin, nails, and hair. I've only been taking it for about a week, though, so I can't comment on what it's doing. But a similar supplement might be helpful for you.

    I've tried taking vitamins and extra biotin but that still wasn't helping much but maybe I'll try a hair specific supplement

    Hi Rudy1021!

    After analyzing your situation I have come to the conclusion that you should start making use of essential hair oils. Specifically, you should start massaging your hair with almond, olive, coconut, mustard and castor oil. You can do two things;

    1) you can mix almond, olive, coconut and mustard oils and apply on your hair and scalp
    2) you can separately use castor oil after heating it up as it is more viscous than other oils. Why separately? Because it is very thick hence if added with other oils, it will make the mixture very thick too. Secondly, it increases hair growth rate so its better to use it separately and analyze its results.

    Hopefully, you will achieve some considerable results through this remedy.
