Whether it's 100 layers of conditioner or oil, does this work for you with highly porous hair? I'm heavy handed, so maybe by de facto, this method works for me. lol!

Yes, I do think highly porous hair needs layers of products, and I've also been putting my products in hair that has been squeezed with my hair towel, not soaking wet as often. But heavy handed- -absolutely! Always have been lol

Not for me. But I have highly porous hair that is also fine and thin, so it's easy to overdo and end up with limp, dirty-looking hair.
