KCCC - WoW

I'm not sure if this goes here or in product review but it's not really a review. It's just that I forgot how unique KCCC is. I've been waiting for very high dews because I complained about that here and wanted help but the dews in NYC haven't been that bad, so today I just tried KCCC which I haven't used in probably 2 years.

WoW - bouncy shiny curls and soft! I have to get re-acqainted with this! Definitely a unique product.
2/c Coarse hair med. density.
Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
Every day is a gift :flower:

I get what you mean! I think KCCC is what really gives my curls their form. I don't necessarily get strong hold, but I can use other products for that. KCCC since day one of CG for me, see no reason to change :)

Sort of an ordinary method. I used a sulfate shampoo because I had dyed my hair and I was very anxious to get all the dye off my scalp. Then I used CJ Rehab for about 30 minutes to offset the drying effect of the dye and the sulfate poo. I didn't use a leave in. Just scrunched in the KCCC and voila! Best curls I've had in months. Shiny and springy.

Unfortunately, I tried this again and I used too much KCCC and got flat stringy hair. That's one of the problems I have with KCCC. I want to be sure that I coat all my curls, inside and out with a little of the goop but not overdo it. It seems to be a very tricky product. I wonder if other people have this experience.

Have you tried it? What was your experience with it?

Curlypearl, I use it also, and love it as well. While I do not use a leave-in under it, I do use an oil (currently a castor/avacado oil blend). It can be tricky to use, but for me the secret is to be sure and apply when my hair is either soaking wet, or with adding additional water via wet hands. When I scrunch it in, I have to hear the "squishy" noise (not unlike the squish to condish method) for it to turn out well, regardless of how much I use although I do use it sparingly.

Thanks Bein Deb. I was really disappointed by my second attempt to use it. Often I make the mistake of adding too much product (any product) so I need to relax a little and be cautious instead of gooping too much on.

This is my experience exactly. If I can magically apply the exact proper amount, it's a glorious sight to behold. However, this must indeed be magical because it's such an elusive result to obtain.

KCCC has HG potential, if its results would be consistent.
2c, coarse, low elasticity, medium/high density; varied porosity, protein- and coconut-sensitive
CJ Daily Fix and Smoothing Conditioner; then Beauticurls and Pattern Pusha
