Alternative for Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Style Milk

Hi all,

I'm a 2c - I use Avalon lavender shampoo about once a week, GF triple nutrition conditioner, and then Sebastian whipped cream after plopping my hair. This has long worked well for me.

Recently though my hair's been quite dry since we relocated to a more humid area. I have added Shea Moisture Coconut and hibiscus curl and style milk to my routine (after conditioning, before plopping, to add moisture) and love it. It makes my curls soft, more defined, and pliable, but, im looking (for long and complicated reasons) for something that works similarly but doesn't have as strong/flowery a smell.

If anyone had any recs I'd be really grateful!!

Also I am only realizing now my 'routine' posts below my post. That is years old and I don't know how to change it!!

Hmmm...the cantu cream is often compared to it but the smell is equally as strong--coconut. Maybe look into some of the creams by Eden Bodyworks. I haven't tried any but I have liked their other products.

I found Talliah Wajid super moisturizing and not bothersome in terms of smell once it dried, but some people do complain about the scent, so ymmv.
