I was wondering with my specific hair type was so I was wondering if you guys can tell me what is my hair type because I really know nothing about hair and if know my hair type then I can just look up on it and find better ways to maintain it and I can't take the quiz since I know nothing of hair. Here is my pictures. I honestly just want to find a hair routine I can abide by that takes better care of my hair

    I'd say 3c or 3c/4a. But I'm no expert.

I would say 3c/4a me too. But there are no fast and hard rules for the care of hair of certain curl patterns. You will need to listen to your hair along the way to learn what works and what doesn't. Something that might be very helpful is to find out the other (maybe more important?) properties of your hair like porosity, level of elasticity, current level of moisture etc.

Welcome to the world of curly hair!
    4a/4b, highly porous, fine hair.

Co-wash: DevaCurl No Poo Decadence, AIA Long and Luxe Cowash
    Leave-in: KCKT, Soultanicals Knot Sauce
    Stylers: UFDCM, WLXG

I agree with 3c /4a. More than curl pattern, figure put your hair properties to determine what products and techniques are right for your hair.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using CurlTalk App
3b/c, medium-coarse, low porosity, high density
HG: Jessicurl Too Shea and Kinky Curly Curling Custard
Shampoo: nonsulfate shampoo and Suave Naturals sulfate shampoo when needed

So how would you go about finding your hair properties?

Here is a good link: Live Curly Live Free | the naturally curly hair educators. Unfortunately, the site no longer does hair analysis, but Goosefootprints on Etsy does.
