Just need a simple product to help my hair...

So all I really need is some simple tips and suggestions for products to help my hair. Recently, I have stopped using my shampoo and stick only to the basic cheap conditioners. But I need something that will help my hair lay down and keep the frizz down for a couple days till I wash my hair again. My bangs and some of my hair likes to get really weird and straight/wavy. My hair is a mix of 3a and 3b by the way and is up above my shoulders....

So any suggestions?

You could try gel. You can get LA Looks Sports Gel for under $5 and it works great. Try applying it to soaking wet hair, rake it through, then scrunch, then gently squeeze out excess water with a t-shirt (not a towel, that causes frizz), and either air dry or diffuse. (Look up how to use a diffuser, you don't use it like a blow dryer.)

Is your hair frizzy when wet? That's often buildup, so a clarifying shampoo would be the answer.
