Read the Ingredients! Twice!

I'm stupid, but I did learn something. I got a deep conditioner in my birchbox. I checked the ingredients and somehow missed dimethicone, which my hair apparently HATES now. It wasn't just frizzy, my hair was sticky. Sticky! I washed it out, and now my hair is sulking at me. I'm not trying cones, though, I did learn that, lol.

So, don't be me, read the ingredients. Then read them again.

i've done that with protein. I'll look at the ingredients and see no protein, but then I'll use the product and say, "Gosh, this acts just like it has protein in it!" Sure enough, after a second look, there's the protein. Argh.

I had the sticky hair thing last week after a salon trip - the stylist must have used something with a hefty dose of 'cones. It took 2 rounds of clarifying, along with several other unsuccessful strategies, to lose the stickiness. My hair is incredibly angry with me right now. I feel your pain!

I think I'm going to have to clarify again, too. Ugh!

I used to use a dozen cones a day. My hair must have hated me. No wonder it's taking so long to play nice, lol.
