Eyebrow growth products?

Has anybody used or have any information about whether eyebrow growth serums actually work and what the downsides are? Any particular products that are recommended?

Thanks.

I've not tried any serums but I've put castor oil on my eyebrows and it has thickened them up some.

Like in that it stimulates new hair growth? Just plain castor oil?

I also concur with Jamaica Black Castor Oil! It makes your hairs grow in thicker and darker, but if you have have overtweezed/waxed for a long period of time, there aren't any products that will make them grow back in 100%. I was a teen in the 90's when thin brows were in. I regret that a lot BUT there are some great tricks you can use to realistically fake it. Pixiwoo has two fantastic tutorials. She really overtweezed but you wouldn't know it. Her masterful makeup techniques make them look real (the antithesis of those fake blocky instagram brows).
First: This tutorial she uses a spoolie with soap on it to comb her existing brows and seperate them to get a thicker looking texture, then fills in individual hairs with a thin angled brush and illamasqua brow pomade ( you can use any pomade you like, mac & anastasia make some awesome ones too). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6tMavELbiI
Second: This is a tutorial that shows more in depth how she draws the hairs on. It looks so good! I do this everyday now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G18vN1jjS54

Instead of the angled brush, I prefer to use the thinnest eyeliner brush i could find, you could also use a needle point art brush..you just want bristles firm enough that it won't collapse when you go to draw them on.

These vids SAVED me because every other tutorial shows how to completely fill it in by drawing some harsh ridiculous line under the brows which didn't look good on me. Sharpie brows lol. Not feeling that look even though it can look great in photos. I love this technique because you really can't detect it in person. It just looks like real brow hairs.

    Type: 3a | NP | med-fine but high den | bob
NP: Deva NP, DC low poo, ACV rinses
RO: Deva 1 Cond orig or decadence
DC: DC HIC, SM JBCO mask
    LI: 1 Cond, B'leavin
Styler: Deva SPC or reg SC
    Gels: DC LDG, Bouncecurl
    Refresh: water w Lavender oil.
    Scalp: Lav/jojoba/rosem/pep oils.
Airdry, wait 30 mins before diffusing.
Loves a little protein in stylers! Hates heavy stuff.

I use Home Health Organic Unrefined Castor oil and it really works! I have a disorder where I like to pull hairs out and there was a bald patch on one my eyebrows. I bought the castor oil, massaged it all over my eyebrows, and placed some on my eyelashes (I pluck my lashes out too). My eyebrows have become thicker and my eyebrows are growing faster.
