Hi,

I just recently started leaving my hair curly and I am trying to find the right products for me. I have short hair--just above the chin. I've been using Tweak'd as my hair conditioner, but I noticed that its drying my hair so I would like to use something different. I also use Loreal Boost It Volume Inject Mousse and DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel.

My hair stylist also tried Aveda Be Curly but in a couple of hours my hair lost all the waves and was mostly straight.

I mostly leave my hair air dry. I've been using a DevaCurl microfiber towel for my hair.

Thanks,
Gaudy

O/T, but Tyco I love your siggy line. I have two lovely rescue kitties and there are so many more out there who need homes. It's so nice to see people out there advocating for animals, the purest of all souls.

Back on topic... GaudiciaCar it's difficult to give product recs based just on curl type. It's your other properties that are more important. What's your hair width? Density? Porosity? If your hair went straight perhaps it is like mine, thin and gets weighted down. I can tell you what works for me (some of which is in my siggy) but if I don't know your properties I don't know if that would be helpful.

    3A/f/i
Super baby fine hair, low porosity
Shampoos: SM Fruit Fusion (mostly), Avalon lemon (to clarify). Occasional aloe vera and glycerin to wash.
Stylers: Intelligent Nutrients Perfect Hold Hairspray
Treatments: Catnip tea, IA girl's PT, Fermented Rice Water, Catnip Tea, Amla tea, Irish Moss, SS PT
