How to improve overall hair

So I just had my hair cut shorter a couple weeks ago after I was done dealing with my previous length and thickness. I've always had really thick hair and having to blow-dry it constantly meant destroying my hair completely. So here's my 2nd day hair and I don't know, I just think it looks too frizzy. Typically this is how my hair looks even after washing it so nothing new here. What should I do to reduce the frizz / flyaways? I know my hair is dry and I've been trying everything I can to reduce the dryness, whether it be with masks or deep conditioning. Not sure if any of it is really helping though as I feel like it's still very dry. My hair sucks up the treatments but never shows it!

Hoping someone on here can give me some good advice!!
