Hair of the dog?

Last weekend I walked my friends wire haired dachshund. I met an acquaintance who laughed and said: your dog looks like you, you have the same hair!

So it was a hot and windy day, and I had lots of frizz, but still...

Me: What a coincidence! I was thinking you have a lot in common with my dog too. you two have the same breath. And you're both a b$&:@.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

There is a belief amongst some people that dogs look like their owners.

So your fool of acquaintance clearly thought this as s/he clearly isn't aware that some people walk or sit other people's dogs.

I guess I look like a Jack Russell terrier, Border terrier or smooth haired dachshund....

BTW In the UK the phrase "hair of the dog" means the day after getting really drunk you start drinking again so you don't feel so dreadful. So that drink is called "hair of the dog".
