LOC method vs CG confusion

In doing some CG method research, I also came across the LOC (Leave-in, oil, cream) method for styling hair. And now I am a little confused. Is this instead of CG, or can you do both as long as the conditioner, oil and cream are all silicone free and CG friendly?

If anyone does this, which products do you use? It is intriguing to me. I already have coconut oil, if that works for the oil.

You can do both--CG does not preclude LOC. As you pointed out, just make sure that the LOC elements are CG in themselves.

I don't do this method myself, but I don't see why coconut oil wouldn't be OK.
