Looks a little promising. I do like their Decadence One Condition. Their regular line is garbage imo. I won't purchase this line I don't think - I prefer Matrix Biolage cleansing conditioner now. Devacurl products have way too much glycerin for me to use on a regular basis. I only use their Styling Cream fairly regularly.

I admit to being curious about these products. I've used the low-poo in the past and it was okay. However, between Cantu and Shea Moisture, I'm pretty satisfied in the shampoo and conditioner department, and the prices from those brands are much friendlier on my broke college student budget. I'd rather spend the money on something I don't have a HG for or repurchasing the styling cream. Like Mei, it's the only product from Deva I use on a semi-regular basis

If Devacurl were to come out with styling products for waves, I'd probably be much more likely to try those. I don't know why, but finding HG stylers has been the biggest challenge.

I really want to see the ingredients. I've been using the Decadence cleanser and conditioner off-and-on for about 6 months, but with inconsistent results and I haven't found any suitable replacements.

Thanks! Hmmm, looks like lots of coconut-derived ingredients right up front. Think I'll pass on this one.

I see a lot of ppl saying that they have tried Decadence and may try Delight. The same person should not be using these 2 lines. Decadence is for ppl with very tight curls(even mixed raced ppl can use that line). More moisture for ppl with tight curls. Delight is for ppl with wavy hair. Their needs are moisture without weight. So, choose the line that is right for your curl type. Everyone can use the Devacurl line.

    Low-Poo Delight

Water (Aqua, Eau), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Coco-Betaine, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract, Salvia Hispanica Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Nymphaea Lotus Flower Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Fragrance (Parfum), PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Polyquaternium-10, Propylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-7, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Aminomethyl Propanol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

    One Condition Delight

Water (Aqua, Eau), Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Glycol Distearate, Cetyl Esters, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract (and) Salvia Hispanica Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Nymphaea Lotus Flower Extract, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Propylene Glycol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Too much glycerin for me. I can use glycerin but it has to be in the bottom of the ingredient list.

I have waves but very thirsty ones. Devacurl did not moisturize the way I needed, but Decadence has done very well. Maybe Delight would provide enough moisture without weight, but I plan to avoid it because my hair cannot tolerate coconut. I've heard that Decadence isn't formulated for my 2c hair, but as long as it works...

The ingredients look good. I'd really like to try samples of these first before getting the full size.. I'm still trying to go through bottles of other products I have and cure my pjism.
If I could get samples that would be good. I'm sure the decadence would be too heavy for my hair, although even my uber fine waves like the one condition and I use it in my rotation.
(my hair is color treated so does need weightless moisture)
I'm looking for more curl, body, volume, and shine-a miracle really.

Well, I am kinda curious about these products, but personally, i just can't justify the price. I feel like those same ingredients are in alot of my other products. Plus I am getting to the point to where I think my hair is the best its going to get, and no product in the world will make it grow any faster or be any curlier.

^^ Yes I'm really trying to cut back on spending too much money as well and I still have some Deva Low poo and one condition to use up.
I'd like to try the UDG as well but I'm still going through my bottle of LDG. Plus I have other low poos, conditioners, ect that I purchased when I was going through my PJ stage- need to use them up or give them away.
Plus some have gotten old because they get shoved to the back of the closet and then I have to toss them and I really feel like that's a big waste of money.
I would like to narrow down to just a couple of cleansers, conditioners, styling products, ect to alternate between and be done with it.
I'm looking for more curl, body, volume, and shine-a miracle really.

I was SO excited to try this new "Delight" line by DevaCurl; the first day it was launched I bought the shampoo and conditioner and used both. Sadly disappointed, I found this line actually seemed to relax my Type 2 “Swavy" hair!!” It wasn't heavy and so it did not weigh my hair down; it was very light, but I seem to get more wave using the original DevaCurl products. That said, the scent is fantastic and I would still recommend any wavy hair gal reading this still go ahead and give this line a try, as it may just be my hair that doesn't seem to care for it. Like “Rafterbat” I may only have waves, but they’re thirsty waves, so I intend to return the “Delight” and try the “Decadence.” Anyone else out there disappointed with “Delight?”

Curl types are not consistent with all hair properties. If you read the ingredients on any three Deva conditioner or cleansing bottles almost all are the same - They just use slightly varied amounts of any ingredient to modify the effect the product has on the hair, in addition to changing an extract or two. You can have 4c hair and still be low porosity, like someone with 2a can as well, and based on the porosity there are ANY number of products someone with type 2 or type 4 hair could both use with success. I use Decadence OC and am a 2b/2c and it works well on my hair in winter/early spring when my hair is more porous than it normally is. My hubby has 4c hair and we have shared the same products multiple times with great success because although our curl types are very different as is the texture, we have similar hair properties such as our porosity, density, and elasticity.

I would expect most people on this board would know by now that just because a label says "for super curly hair" or "moisturizing" they would read the ingredients first and go off that basis than just assuming the label isn't a lie. I mean really... Go to a drug store and look at all the shampoos that say "moisturizing" and then look at the ingredients... The second and third ingredients are SLS which obviously are FAR from moisturizing. And Devacurl is NOT an exception to that rule - They are in the business of marketing products to people based on a specific need - Even if all they changed in the Delight products were some preservatives and an extract.

My hair is mostly fine, density is thick, and porosity is naturally high. However, I would like to try the One Condition Delight and see if it can be used as in the TightlyCurly method. Or maybe use the One Condition Delight as a cowash.

The Decadence line did not work for me--no slip and left my hair dry.

I purchase products based on past experience with the line, or ingredients, or the order of the ingredients on the label. Most of the products I use (not all are listed in my signature) are not what people with my hair type would gravitate towards. But they work for me.

I got a free sampler of the DevaCurl Low-Poo Delight Weightless Waves Mild Lather Cleanser at my Ulta. I decided to use it as my post-workout cleanser for the gym since it was already conveniently sized. But I absolutely had to toss it after my scalp started to consistently flare up in itchy flaky patches after each use, there must be some ingredients my scalp hates in this (don't know what, I don't have any skin/food allergies), I know the cleanser was to blame since it was the only new thing I added to my regular routine. Won't be buying the full size, that's for sure. Wanted to like it but I'll just stick to trying other Deva stuff :/.

I tried samples of Devacurl's Lowpoo Delight and Weightless Waves Conditioner yesterday. I rinsed VERY thoroughly but had an itchy burning scalp all day!! I know it was the low-poo because that's the only product I massaged into my scalp. I won't be using these again.

I tried Devacurl regular lowpoo and no poo years ago when they first came out. I wasn't thrilled with them back then either, but they didn't burn my scalp. I wonder if there's something very irritating in the Lowpoo Delight since others are reporting it.

I also bought the Wavemaker texture whip and was disappointed. Made my hair straighter. I'll try pairing it with a gel before giving up on it though because it did seem to control frizz, but a lot of other products do that for cheaper.

I was looking forward to some wavy-specific stuff from Devacurl, but I'm super disappointed with the new wavy line so far.

Avoids: 'cones, sulfates heat styling and aloe (allergy)

Needs: Styler recommendations! Hair NEVER fully dries when gel is applied! Mousses & creams do not seem to provide enough hold for my weak waves/coils. Help!

The shampoo killed my scalp. I won't use it again. I have a sensitive scalp as it is and this stuff burned like no other. I have shorter hair and I found it difficult to figure out if it's supposed to lather or not. I had a hard time getting it off my scalp and onto my hair. For me, this stuff was like paint stripper on my hair. I used two conditioners afterwards. This is a mystery product for me.

I, too, have a problem with Deva. They make my scalp irritated and itchy, and my hair shedding worse. It is probably the chemical fragrance.

        @ everyone above and naturecat

Woah! I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one who got an adverse reaction, I thought there just was something very wrong with me haha. I have mild sebbhoreic dermatitis on my scalp but I had been flare-up free up for about 5-6 months up until I tried the Low-Poo. No shampoo/product has ever made my scalp flare up this quickly though which I found surprising. Usually a product that isn't compatible with my scalp takes about 3-4 consistent uses to make my scalp flare up to the extent one use of the Low Poo Delight gave me. You could be right naturecat, I didn't think to consider the fragrance as a possible culprit.

Review of DevaCurl Delight shampoo & conditioner
            Background
I appreciate other peoples reviews of products so I thought I would give a detailed one here to hopefully give feedback to the company and let others considering purchasing these products, about my experience. I have fine medium length wavy hair. I had stopped using the regular No-poo shampoo and conditioner a long time ago as they were too heavy for my hair. I had switched to some natural products for shampoo and conditioner and had recently started using the Deva volumizing foam and was very happy with that Deva product. But I had heard about the new Delight shampoo & conditioner products so thought I would give them a try. I tried the products on just trimmed-hair so my ends were in good shape.
            Issues:
            1. Smell. Over the top fragrance. My husband is very sensitive to some smells and this one he could smell downstairs. He describes some smells as “coating his tongue” which was the case here. Makes me wonder what chemical does that and why is it in the products. I agree, too strong.
            2. There is an ingredient in both products (glycerin I think) that makes my tub floor extremely slippery when using. I was afraid I was going to slip and fall. I have never experienced that before!
            3. I used the Deva volumizing foam as my styling product as before. Initially, right after drying, my hair seems soft and shiny and the curls were defined. But a few hours later my hair had straightened and the ends were frizzed out. I would come back from a walk on a medium humidity day with my hair looking really bad. These products somehow encourage frizz. I would re-wet my hair and the curls would come back, until the same thing repeated – frizz.
            4. I gave it another try and used the Delight shampoo and conditioner again and things just got even worse. The product seems to be accumulating on my hair with each use.
            5. I used to go 2-3 days between needing to wet/wash my hair when I was doing my previous routine (non-deva products for shampoo/condition and Deva foam and a bit of non-deva gel). Now my hair was so frizzed out and had lost its shape I needed to shampoo every day.
            6. I seemed to have developed an itchy scalp.
            7. These products are very expensive.
I’ve gone back to my old routine of just using the Deva volumizing foam and non-deva products for everything else. It has glycerin in it too but is much further down the list. I’ve been using the foam product for about 2 months and love it so far. But am extremely disappointed in the Delight products for all the above reasons.

Devacurl let me down. I can't use these new products because of the over the top fragrance. Instant. migraine. It's truly that bad. I found some of the old styling cream online and snatched up a couple bottles to get me by until I find a replacement. I'm really struggling to find something that works to define and enhance my curls but not crunchify my hair :-(
I've also tried to contact devacurl for a couple questions and they just ignore consumers. Ish.

Interesting. I love these products. I find the smell less than most products and pleasing and I'm picky. The poo is pretty moisturizing for me. More tha the reg Low poo. Love the conditioner a LOT. Wavemaker is basically SuperCream light IMO. I like it best to scrunch in second or third day or to use as SOTC.

I personally used the delight line by devacurl and didn't like it at all. I have thick coarse wavy curly hair and it didn't sit well. My hair still ended up getting puffy ( well then again my hair still get puffy no matter which line of devacurl I use). The smell in itself is good and it wasn't irritating to my scalp like other people were saying it irritated theirs. The delight line wasn't moisturizing to my hair at all. Hope this helps others :)
