Yin Yoga (at least from the instructor I took it from) involves holding certain poses for a very long time (well only a few minutes but it SEEMS long!).
I still prefer good old Hatha yoga. I like doing the poses in sequence. It's like it tells a story.

He kinda does. He says he can't dance. I made him dance with me at his office Christmas party for a couple of hours. I think he really enjoyed it.
All the more reason to take the lessons @curry curls  :)

I think we need to step outside of our own comfort zones sometimes. This coming from someone who is so resistant to change, lol! I hope the two of you end up taking the lessons.

Thanks, @ellaj.  Stepping outside my comfort zone is something that I have been very much trying to do the past few months.

I took the day off today and took 3 gym classes at our local Active Aging Center - low impact aerobics which I teach there sometimes, chi kung, and yoga. I loved the chi kung which I had never done before. I didn't love the yoga teacher or the class but it was ok.

Today I had a rest day. This old mama was sore. 😁 I would normally do yin on a day like this but I simply didn't feel like it.

Rest days are always good. I hope the soreness is gone today, @Savagegirl.

My back is much better so today I will get back to my walking routine.

i work out 3 days a week for two hours. is it okayy to apply oil before going to workout ?

@Luthfa I see no reason why you couldn't apply oil before working out.
