Drug store cream that is protein free?

I'm thinking of trying the LOC method for sealing but I don't typically use a cream in my routine. I use a leave in, then a custard, then a gel.

I'm 2B course, medium to thin density. I need a protein free cream that works, but I want cheap and easy to access (is in I don't have to wait for it to ship and it's under 10 bucks). Any ideas?

Cantu coconut curling cream. It runs around $6 for 12oz but it does contain petroleum if you're opposed to that.

Sorry, I didn't catch that! I don't use creams but I see them around. Maybe try Eden Body works Coconut Shea Pudding Souffle?

I don't see any proteins but could be wrong as they hide under different names sometimes. Here's the ingredients:

Oooh ya those ingredients look good! I'll keep an eye out for those suggestions. I'm surprised at how little there seems to be in the way of protein free cream. Last place I'm going to try is Sally's. I see on curl mart there are a few options. Might have to just buck up or give up.

So true! I had protein overload once and didn't realize how many products contained some type of protein until then. I'm not protein sensitive but after experiencing that I imagine it must be really hard for people who are!

I will allow a tiny bit of protein, like in my LA looks gel, and Mop Top Custard but you are so right, it can add up to alot if I'm not careful! I seem to be doing OK if I keep it to a minimum. I found two Edens products at Sally's that I can try. The souffle you mentioned and a leave in conditioner with a jojoba formula. I'm excited to give em a try.

Awesome! I'm glad you found them! I want to try the jojoba leave in and the shea leave in but I don't need them since I already have something that works. Trying not to be a product junkie lol.
