Happy Birthday To Me....LOL!

A milestone birthday....65 years young. No plans. Dog sitting two large dogs that don't get along & walking a neighbors dog all weekend.

Thank you, ladies. I will be doing some celebrating next week if my schedule stays open. Trying for dinner one night with the family, dancing with a friend, & a comedy club with 2 friends. Just a really full weekend with my business.

The worse b'day ever. I am watching the dog from hell. I can't really blame him. I should blame his owners. I have had so little sleep. Bruises on my arm. Horrible headache. Stress rash on my hand. He has done so much damage, not only to my personal stuff, but he took a woman down on the ground. She was walking her dog. She is threatening to complain at the office here. My new roommate is threatening to leave. This dog is out of control. 1 year old Goldie. Probably 70 lbs with no training. Thank God he is going home Monday morning. I emailed the owners to let them know everything he has destroyed & done. It's doubtful they will reimburse on anything. It has cost me more than I am getting paid for him. Never, ever, ever again!!!

Today was better. My 12 yr old grandson offered to come over & help me with the dogs. We went to lunch together & had a good Nana/Grandson Day. He loves all dogs & was surprised how crazy this dog was acting. I tried to take a nap this afternoon since I had been up since 4 am with the beast. The beast woke me up 4 xs in 1 1/2 hours barking. I thought he was leaving in the morning, but I found out today that they aren't picking him up until tmrw nite. Sigh....No I will never, ever watch him again. It will be interesting how his owners react to my losses from him this week. Doubtful that they will even tip me for watching him. They finally texted me back this afternoon when I told him about everything that has been going on. Their reaction was that they didn't understand why he was acting this way. Like he doesn't do this at home.

Sorry about your dog troubles. Some dogs do actually do better being left at home and having sitters just come visit a couple times a day.
    But happy belated birthday!!!

    hi, Lotsa-pal

someone i tried to be nice to, told me my birthday wasn't worth celebrating

Edit to add, it was very puzzling because they hadn't been mean before.

I think I am better off without trying there, perhaps?

^Miserable sod, we'd celebrate with you. You need to find different circles to move in, it seems like you don't come across many pleasant people.

Starmie, I just have people in my life who have a lot going on. I understand. They are making time for me after my b'day. I just need to get over myself. I'm 65, alive, healthy & still looking good. LOL! Plus the owner of the dog from hell gave me an extra $100 for the damage he did.

Crossed wires I think Lotsa - my comment was to MorrisonFan re his post before mine! Glad you got some extra money for the damage, good to see people taking responsibility for their wayward pets.
