    Hey, hi! Here I am!

They numbed my leg from the knee down to help with pain and I feel great! Surgery went well although I had some trouble when they couldn't find a vein and thus tied off part of my arm (too close to vaso vagal trigger). The anesthesiologist stated that redheads rarely have prominent veins, while I observed that an Asian, neither did he.
Interesting how these things evolve, huh?

I'm doing fine today thus far. (I'd written my will just in case much to everyone's annoyance but I felt it was a smart and practical step, mostly due to the doggies.) It's snowy and I expect to be bored but I'm so glad to feel better, even it's temporary.

Thank you for asking, and most of all, caring. :)

Well, they put this new cast on and it pinches a lot and I hate it. Also it looks like a wasps nest, which is secondary and which I wouldn't mention if I didn't hate it already.

Actually I had a reaction to the pain meds and one of my carers flipped out so I'm just in bed with ice and elevation, feeling stunned. I'm so glad I have the dogs.

    Aw! Thanks, everyone.

I'm struggling but not in too much pain. Not sure which drug gave me the the reaction (Two words: granny panties), so have quit most. Ice and I are best friends.

TRBL, you know me so well..........................

Thank you! These posts give me something to look forward to. :)

its just so freaking tiring to go there, sit around while a show about property flippers blares, then wait some more. i feel like i'd be better off home and icing.

    complain, complain.

Hang in there, hon. It will get better. Just takes time.
    From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
