Best Gel for Low Porosity 3C?

So I have gone through a lot of different gels and nothing has really worked for me. I used to use Eco Styler gel, but it made my hair feel like straw whenever I wanted to define my curls. I tried Miss Jessie's Coily Custard, but that also felt like straw and made my hair feel so frizzy.

So if you have fine, low porosity 3c hair, what gels are you using?
Type: 3C/3B
Porosity: Low
Width: Fine
Length: BSL (maybe)

Nothing but Love for the No poo method, low maintenance routine, and the Ayurvedic method! :angel7:

I LOVE Batia and Aleeza bio herbal gel. I order it online. It costs $20, BUT, its like 16 ounces, and has lots of slip, and a little goes a really long way. My bottle lasted me about 9 months, and I have mid-back length hair

Oh BTW I don't have 3c hair, mine is 3b with a little bit of 3a, but its low porosity at the roots for a good 3-4 inches. I love the liquidy consistency of that gel, it seems like it penetrates well, since its not too thick, so it doesn't just sit on top of my hair.

Although your hair is fine, we share low porosity and my curls are 3B. I too have never been able to handle a lot of gels because my curls would cringe and become straw-like. Everyone raves about Kinky Curly Curling Custard, and my hair absolutely HATES it. I recently discovered Jessicurl Spiralicious Styling Gel and I am absolutely amazed at how much slip it has, how moisturizing it is, but most of all... by how defined my usually frizzy top layer is! I'd give it a try. :)

Currently, I am using Aussie Instant Freeze and have been for the past 2 years. I get them edges to lay without being crispy and still have curl definition.
