Organic product recommendations?

Hi there! I'm new to the forum, and hoping for some advice!

I think my hair is 3b low porosity, low density, fine. I usually braid it to both keep it out of my face and to tame it so a lot of times my curls end up looking more like 2a type but when they naturally air dry they are much tighter and closer to 3b. I'm trying to embrace my hair as a 3b instead of 2a so I'm looking for product recommendations. Preferably organic or vegan because I am sensitive to a lot of the non-natural chemicals such as animal based fatty alcohols.

Currently using: nexus diametress volumizing shampoo (like every other day), Shea Moisture 10 in 1 conditioner (daily), Shea moisture tahitian masque (1-2 times a week), creme of nature argan oil as a detangler, herbal essences totally twisted mousse

Thanks fellow curly haired comrades :D

Chamomile tea as a leave in spray is awesome and Shea Moisture coconut and hibiscus conditioner is also really good.

I don't have similar hair properties (I am quite porous and have regular density), but I have lots of chemical sensitivities too. I have had good luck with the lines from Giovanni and Intelligent Nutrients. You could also check Sevi; I believe they are vegan. I haven't used a lot of their products, though. I have also used Griffin Remedy products; they are vegan.
Low poo: Intelligent Nutrients (IN) Harmonic; Oribe Cleansing Creme
    RO: IN Harmonic
LI: CJ Beauticurls; Jessicurl (JC) Gelebration Spray
DC: JC Deep Conditioning Treatment; Weleda Rosemary Conditioning Oil
Stylers: JC Confident Coils; IN Volumizing Spray; IN Perfect Hold Hairspray; John Masters Sea Mist; Bumble Bb. Gel; Kenra Firm-Hold Gel; Sevi Blue Yarrow Sea Salt Spray

Thank you all for your suggestions! I think Giovanni might have too many chemicals I am sensitive too but I'm going to check out Sevi they look promising--does anyone who uses them know where I could maybe buy them? I know I could buy them online but I prefer to buy in person so I can smell them and double check the ingredients.

Regarding the Giovanni line, if you don't have any luck elsewhere, I would check them out anyway, since some of their products are more natural than others. It's kind of a mishmash. When you are restricted with regard to chemicals, sometimes it means the world just to find ONE thing that works!

I don't know where to find Sevi other than online. Maybe you could contact Sevi and ask them if they can tell you if any retailers in your area carry their items? They seem like a pretty small company, so maybe they would even be willing to make up some samples for you for the price of shipping or something.

I'm a fan of Andalou Naturals BB Smooth Hold Styling Cream, appears to be vegan and organic ingredients. I use this one or Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie interchangeably- how I use it: (I "squish to condish" as the last step in my shower, apply the Andalou cream, Curl Keeper, LA LOOKs Gel). This cream (actually all creams in general) give my hair no hold, so I don't use this alone, it could be a different case for your hair though :). You could also go to a Whole Foods/Sprouts/similar store because they mostly organic & vegan hair products.

Smells like a Creamsicle, but lighter :icescream:

    Ingredients:
Aloe Barbadensis Juice, Cetearyl Alcohol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus (Guar) Gum, Sodium Alginate (Algin), Octyl Palmitate, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Lauric Acid, Vanilla Planifolia and Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Extracts, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glycine Soja (Soy) Protein, Fruit Stem Cells (Malus Domestica, Solar Vitis) and BioActive 8 Berry

Sweet Curls Elixirs will custom make your products for you. I use her foam, and many like the crazy curly gel as well. I've also requested it to be free of preservatives in the past, to make it truly chemical free.
Aubrey Organics is another excellent brand in terms of ingredients. Intelligent Nutrients is another brand you can look into, though pricier and same goes for John Masters. And Max Green Alchemy. Sevi. Komaza too I believe. All those are chemical free. There's also Giovanni and Andalou Naturals which are chemical lighter. Same with Mineral Fusion (I like their Volumizing Conditioner which I believe is chemical free or light except for possibly the preservative).
Personally I handmade my own gelatin gel and also hairspray with epsom salt and essential oils. You can use pectin, orange, or sugar for hairspray. It doesn't take long to make.

    3A/f/i
Super baby fine hair, low porosity
Shampoos: SM Fruit Fusion (mostly), Avalon lemon (to clarify). Occasional aloe vera and glycerin to wash.
Stylers: Intelligent Nutrients Perfect Hold Hairspray
Treatments: Catnip tea, IA girl's PT, Fermented Rice Water, Catnip Tea, Amla tea, Irish Moss, SS PT
