Protein treatment recommendations

Hi everyone :)

I need some recommendations on what protein treatment to use. I normally just do the gelatin one, but I'll be going to college this upcoming fall, so I won't have a microwave to heat up the gelatin. Thus, I need to find a new protein treatment since my hair really seems to like protein :) preferably something that isn't TOO expensive.

Any suggestions are welcome!

I'm going to college this fall too. ;)
What I do that is cheep and easy is coconut milk and honey. It will cost you $.99 for the can and $4.00 for the honey. (It
gives me about 4+ uses per can) Asplashofdr has a tutorial for it on YouTube.
But if your not into diys, aphogee has a really good protein treatment. It is $7.88

The first step of Aphogee 2-Step is going to be the most similar to the gelatin PT. Other foods such as eggs, yogurt, milk, etc. have much larger protein molecules that are too big to penetrate the hair strands the way gelatin does.
