Poofy ends after flat iron

I have recently started flat ironing my hair. I have done it 3 times (once every two weeks, when I wash and deep condition). The first time was at the salon (about a month and a half ago) when she also trimmed alot off since my ends were messed up from constant braids. The ends tend to frizz up after a few days so when I wear it down, it's just poofy at the bottom half and not sleek. I deep condition, blow dry with comb attachment, heat protectants, flat iron with comb (although I'm thinking maybe I should try with a brush instead).

Last time I flat ironed on 200C which is about 392F, doing 1-2 passes on very small sections. Is this too high? Should I lower and do more passes?

How else can I prevent this from happening because I hate wearing my hair up.

What are you doing to your hair at night?
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

I apply Oil on the ends a teeny bit and wrap.
