Hair breakage?

So after doing my bantu knots which came out terrible, I noticed that my hair was significantly shorter in the front.
My bantu knots came out bad because the ends weren't properly detangle with some knots and I thought finger detangling would be enough.
I have a Seamless comb and a knock off felicia leatherwood brush that I used to detangle.
For a few weeks I've been detangling in the shower with conditoner with the brush, I just went back to the seamless one.
I've been buying more products in hope to have better results in my hair, even using different products in sections to see the differences that they have.
I'm not sure what to do ugh.

You may be pulling the hair too tight in the front. I know it is easy to do without realizing it.

Probably rough handling. I noticed my hair was way out of whack after doing a rollerset in the first time in forever. To do it I did a lot more detangling than usual and I think I caused more breakage than usual (some breakage is normal). It's the ups and the downs. We just have to live and learn sometimes. The good thing for most of us is we can grow it back with some TLC.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

    Thanks for the responses!
And it probably has come from rough handling, I've been detangling my hair alot more then what I used to do trying to get it into a good style.
Should I just detangle less or just do strictly finger detangling unless doing a styling like a rollerset?
