Hair extremely "squeaky" after SM Raw Shea conditioner

So Shea Moisture's Raw shea Restorative conditioner worked for me when i started using it a year ago but i remember it giving me a squeaky feel while detangling even though it detangled well. My hair dried soft but the squeaky dry feel was still there?

Fast forward to a year later and i revisited it and the dry squeaky feel is back. I've noticed products either high on protein or Panthenol give me this. I even clarified with a sulfate poo to see if it was the shea butter building up but no difference. It shouldnt be the coconut oil causing the protien effect because i do fine with it in summer.
Anyone else get this from the raw shea conditioner? I also had more hair loss when detangling. But my hair is still full and soft when im done so is this because the panthenol is building up and its nor for me? I dont want it to go to waste because i paid a hefty shippong for it for where i live. Anyone else experiencing this?

I find it works better as a sealer/styler, but that's just how my hair likes it...

It works the same way as a leave in for me. I see youre using/have used the Naturelle gel in your sigy. How is it?

I love it. I only use it in high dews. Despite the soft hold, it holds up nicely😊

By squeaky do you mean your hair feels kind of rigid. Protein sometimes does me that way. I didn't like that conditioner or the black soap conditioner. But my hair hated the hibiscus conditioner. Too much protein.

Yes im protein sensitive too. Must be the coconut oil or thr Panthenol which builds up on my hair
