Anybody out there use ONLY water wash, no product?

Last year I started the no-poo method using a diluted baking soda mixture twice a week and diluted apple cider vinegar for "conditioner" every second day. I did this for 6 months and was happy except my hair seemed very dry on the ends. I thought maybe this could be from the baking soda.

One of my good friends has stopped washing her hair completely. Just water, no product, no nothing. She has been doing in for six months and her hair is gorgeous. Perfect ringlets and not greasy looking at all.

I have decided to give it a go and am only a few days in. Is there anybody else out there who has/is doing this? I'd love to hear some more takes on it.

Thanks!

I've done it before as well. I did no poo for an entire year and water only for months. My ends were really dry and I also have hard water. I juat really missed conditioner after a while but I agree, it's amazing and I might go back to it one day.

When I had loose hair I did it for a few months and loved it. I went back when my scalp started to itch like crazy. Maybe I didn't do it right but i went back to co washing. That was years ago. Now that I have dreads I am back to water only but I use ACV to condition and I use oil on the ends. No itchies this time.

I've been doing it for a couple of weeks. I love it. It's so easy. My hair isn't tangled anymore and it's soft and it dries super quick; it used to take forever to dry.

Yes! The softness is amazing and my dry time has been cut in half.

I think ACV really helps with the itchies. Do you leave your vinegar mix in your hair or rinse it out completely? I think after a while it really does start to dry faster.

I puy it in a spray bottle and spray it in my hair and scalp. Then rub it in for a few minutes as if I am using shampoo. Then rinse. Depending on how my hair feels I may apply a little evco or evoo or jojoba oil. Which ever I have on hand.
